anyone got a cheapo spare tire laying around? my track bike needs one.
I'll give you something next time I'm at the track, probably not this coming Wednesday, but the next. Or if you ride to the shop, it'll be a reward.
Before I go to ebay, any interest in my Casco Warp II carbon? Size Large, essentially like new, worn in at most 6 individual sprint races over a season and half. $200. Can bring to the track on a Wednesday or pick up in Piermont. Be like Greg Olsen!

Damn Mattie, that's a fine looking noggin protector.  Wish I had use for it.

I'm getting an Air Attack Shield, so have no fear, nerdy space helmet is not going away.
@Brendan, I also have stem candidate - Ritchey WCS. Pre 240 degree style.
thanks @joaquin.  i'll let you know if edwin's doesn't work out
Free Assos jersey for anyone who wants it. Size M. It's nice, it's just too big for me and I've almost never used it. Someone ought to get some good out of it.
I'll take your jersey if no-one else wants it, Ryan.

All yours. Holler off line to arrange hand off.
you first said it was free but now you're saying that adam has to give you a "hand off"?  that's false advertising right there.
it's ok.  he's a professional.

craig i've been looking into getting the Garmin 510....just changing your training tools,or did it not have some specific functionality you're looking for?
Anyone got a rear Dura Ace 7800 Brifter.  Mine crapped out today.  Can't ride.
Aaron, why don't you look at the inventory I posted on the Kit Order thread and we'll set up a time & place to sell you a pair.
Hey Guys,

I'm looking for a nice set of cx cleats. Looks like my commuters are going to have to get put on the shelf next year. Any suggestions?
There is a long discussion about this buried in the forum somewhere...

I use Shimano SPDs (XT from a couple years ago). I personally dislike them and wish I got the Crank Bros Egg Beaters. Might make the switch this year.

If you're only asking about shoes, I always go Specialized. Love 'em.
does anyone have a front or rear rack that they don't want that i could take off their hands?  my caad8 frame has threaded screw holes at the bottom of the seatstays.  the rack would have to attach to the seatpost or brake bridge.
@joseph - I'll second @Jeff here.  I've used the egg beaters last year in my first cx race (supercross) and when i go mountain biking and love them.  No problems with shedding dirt and mud.
Sorry it's shoes I'm looking for. I'm looking at Sidis and will check out some specialized.
Watch out for Specialized if you're not used to them. They have a tilt to them that caused me some immense knee pain. There are shims that can set them neutral again, but if you've had non-Specialized shoes for a time, it can be hard to adapt.
Joe what size are your feet?  I have some size 11's you can try out if you want.
Specialized shoes are about the only ones that DON'T give me Achilles/knee pain like my Giros and Diadoras did. Sidis seem fine but I've only used them for cx, not crazy long rides.

The 2009 trendy yellow Mavic are very plush and slipper like.

It's all just personal. Doesn't some place do a trial? I guess they'd get too torn up. I'm thinking of competitive cyclist helment deal or something.
i've got no complaints about my pearl izumis (though others might complain about the colors).  they were about half the price of sidis' top of the line and still feature vented carbon soles.  http://www.amazon.com/Pearl-iZUMi-Octane-III-Cycling/dp/B005927A02/ref=lp_5745873011_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1369343719&sr=1-14 (not the pair i have, but a similar one).

if you have amazon prime they arrive at your house in 2 days, you try them on, then return them for free if they're the wrong size.  order as many sizes as your credit card limit can handle.  takes more time than going to a shop, but if the shoe fits...
