Yo Ilya.

Great to have you as sponsor.

Welcome!
Avi
Welcome Ilya! So cool to have you in the club!!
Welcome Ilya!!

Hey everyone,

I just joined Kissena and I wanted to introduce myself. My name is David Hocker, and I’m a grad student living in north Brooklyn.  I’m on the tail end of a Ph.D., which means that I’m just about done with collegiate cycling, and I wanted to get connected to the community here. My friend William Capitman said that this team was a blast, so I’m excited to get riding and meet you all!

I’m originally from Indiana, but never got involved in cycling until I moved out to the east coast for grad school. I’ve been racing collegiate road races with Princeton for about 5 years now, and it’s been great. I’ve been a cat 4 most of the time, and I’m hoping that I’ll have some more regular training structure now that I live in the same state as my team so that I can improve my racing.

Anyway, I’m excited to meet you guys. Feel free to ask me questions, say hi, or whatever.

I realize I don’t have a good photo of me in kit, so here’s a weird-looking portrait, and another as the result of letting Halloween costumes be allowed in a cyclocross race. I was the only one sporting a costume made for dogs.

later!

David

Welcome David! Sweet shark, yo!
Welcome to the club David.
Glad you're on board David!
Hey, another Dave! Welcome!
Any friend of WDC is a friend of ours. Welcome Dave.

Welcome David!
Welcome David. As Jim said, any friend of WDC is a friend of ours.
Hi,

I'm Christopher Meehan -I joined Kissena just 6 days ago. It's great to have met a bunch of you and receive warm welcomes already, at last Sunday's and this morning's L&C Cup.

I got back on my bike this past February after letting it gather dust for a few years following a major surgery. Last week was my first race in over 2 decades.

I've been road cycling since I was 13. At that time I was a committed long distance competitive swimmer -a focus into my 20s. Yet I always found time to do club rides and races, follow the UCI tours, and I worked as a shop mechanic for about 6 years.

Racing now really makes my this sport feel new and exciting. It's clear I'll learn a lot with this club and look forward to getting increasingly involved.

See you out there!
Chris, Welcome. Nice to meet you this morning. Looking forward to some miles together.
Welcome Chris!
Welcome aboard Chris!!
welcome to Kissena Christopher.
welcome!!!
Hello Chris
The best part is the after race doughnuts...trust me on this....nice Fondriest.
Hey all,

Been busy riding and neglecting to introduce myself! My name is Jeff Lin and I joined about two weeks ago. I graduated last May (a year now holy cow) and work in finance. A friend of mine convinced me to get a road bike several years ago. I enjoyed riding recreationally but did not get into racing until this year.

I've gotten several under my belt and must say I am addicted. I am excited to meet more of you guys (hopefully at Orchard and Bear) and feel free to reach out!

Jeff
Pictures please :)
Welcome Jeff!!
Welcome to the club, Jeff!
A couple of us will be at Bear with a 10am start time.  If our paths cross once you're done with your race, please do stop by and introduce yourself, it would be great to say hello.
Good luck racing this weekend.
Welcome to Kissena Jeff.

Welcome, Jeff! You did a great job at Orchard. Keep it up.
Jeff. you're tilting the balance away from the Daves and the Marks.
