Welcome Eli!
Welcome Eli!!!
Hi everyone!
I'm Linus. I've been riding for about five years now. I started with a late night group ride in Baltimore and got hooked from there. I just celebrated my fourth anniversary with my Cannondale. We're very happy together. I moved to Brooklyn almost two years ago. I haven't done any group rides since moving to NYC, so I look forward to riding with you all. Also, I plan to break into racing. This is me fueling up for a century last summer.
welcome
Welcome aboard Linus and Cannondale!  =)
Welcome to you Linus, your Cannondale, and any bananas you bring! We cyclists are a hungry bunch
My dad sent me a bunch of old photos from NZ. From a Pro-Am criterium (back then we had separate pro and amateur bike clubs).

Pardon my Kiwi, but that kit (kinda want to call it a get-up) is the fucking dream.

are you reaching for your bottle?
Hey everyone,

I'm Bobby. I really enjoyed meeting everyone this past weekend at the recruitment ride. I've been on a bike for most of my life and just started getting really into cycling about a year ago. I've done a few 100k rides this year and I look forward to getting to know everyone and plan on getting into the racing scene really soon!

Below is a picture of me and my boys (Nick and Sam) after the Nassau to Suffolk cycling challenge this past June.

Talk to you soon!

Bobby
Welcome @RobertPeras !

Nice to meet you Bobby, the big chainring Alpine and Clauseland was quite a feat.

Check out the Big wheels & crayons thread for fellow Kissena dad stuff.
Thanks John
Welcome to the club Robert!!
Welcome Bobby.
Hi Y'all,

It was great riding with you guys this past Sat, and special thanks to the guys that helped me with my flat!

I started riding a few years ago with my friends, then they all moved to Cali or stopped riding. I'm looking forward to finding out what racing is all about next (road) season, and riding with people faster than me in general.

Here's a poorly cropped picture of me on top of Bear from earlier this summer:

See you guys on the road soon.

Will
Welcome to the club Will!
Welcome and good riding with you last weekend Will. If you can handle Brian's lead-outs, I think you're set to start racing.
Happy almost Friday everyone!

I had the privilege to ride along with William and Bobby on Saturday for the recruitment ride.  Had an absolute blast and nearly exploded a lung on some of the awesome climbs on the way to Piermont!  My passion for cycling started out with some XC mountain riding up in VT 4 years back and I have recently took up road cycling the last year.  Very excited to dive into the Kissena racing culture and work on my climbing abilities...

Here's a selfie mug taken on Big Bear Lake, CA

Enjoy the long weekend!

Erik
Welcome to the club Erik
Hi guys, sorry for the delay. I just started school this week and it's been hectic. My name is Nurit, I'm 21 years old originally from Israel. I used to do a lot of racing in the junior categories but I had some health issues the past few years that required me to stop riding so much. So I got my coaching certificate and coached a junior triathlon team for the last year! Then I worked this summer at a camp as a cycling coach. I finally got the ok to do longer and more intense workouts and I'm so excited to get back into things this coming season! Another cool thing is that I was in the Israeli army (mandatory) and I was a tank instructor, specifically a gunner. And now I'm here in New York (even though I live in Jersey) studying at Icahn in a special program which lets me study at CUNY while starting my medical degree. Can't wait to see you all on rides!
Welcome all!  On-bike shots are very helpful.  Tonight I passed Greg on my commute and had no idea who he was because he wasn't in kit and *GASP* he didn't have a helmet on!  It was like meeting him for the first time...
Welcome Nurit!
Welcome to the club Nurit!
welcome all! nice meeting you all last weekend - see you on the road
Welcome all to the club.
Hi,

My name is Jill White.  I like to race bikes.  Jeffrey White is my husband and Taco is our pup pup.  I'm excited to be racing 'cross with yous guys.  See you at the Whirlybird tomorrow!
Above is the last time I raced in June and below is my Madone with dropper post.

Welcome back, Jill! Pysched to see you racing cross with the Kissena colors
That dropper post is still more plausible than Yackenstein's cable downtube.
