Hi everyone,

I joined the group last week, but haven't gotten a chance to introduce myself. My name's Adam Fabian, and I live in Park Slope with my wife. I've been cycling for about a year now, all of it solo, and decided to join Kissena after talking with a few of you during rides in Prospect Park (unfortunately, the names escape me). I'm considering trying my hand at racing a few times this summer, so I'm excited to jump in on some of the weekday training rides, as well as tacking on some miles with the group on the weekends. I've already met Jules, Jim, and Craig, and I'm excited to meet more of you on the road.

Hi everyone
My name is Juan Chami, I'm brand new to the sport (6 months riding solo). I'm looking to meet more riders so I can improve and eventually do a couple of races. I live in williamsburg where fixies rule the streets and road bikes are hard to find. I generally go 2 times a week to George Washington bridge and Prospect Park. I would like to join a couple of training ride to meet new riders and potential new friends.

Welcome to the club Juan! This sounds like the right place for you. Keep an eye at the forum for the weekend & weekday PP (Prospect Park) rides. I reguraly ride in PP on weekdays, so I'm sure we'll run into each other. Looking forward to seeing you on the road!

I'm excited to tell everybody that we are (finally!) about to get Mr. Vlad Preoteasa from Speedwell.

Vlad is a really good guy and a Cat 3 with talent who battled Hulk all last year out at FBF.

Both his personality and his legs will be a great addition to the club.
