Speaking of video I finally got around to watching Tour De Pharmacy.
I laughed harder than I have in a long time.

Abu Dhabi Tour organisers blame automatic brake sensor for Cavendish crash

From the CN article

"When the riders behind the car moved close enough to trigger the sensor, the car's brakes were automatically applied."

Wait, the car automatically brakes if something gets too close from behind? How does that make sense?

Right?
Don’t you SEE??? Skynet has become self aware!!!
If you've ever wondered why Yacks at times seems a shit storm of non-conformity...and you have 13 minutes and 33 seconds to spare, this video fills in the blanks.  I came of age during the bloody breech birth of mountain biking.  Yes, cyclocross is rad...but it doesn't hold a candle to the madness and shenanigans of the mtb scene in the early 90's.  I give you exhibit A = Missy "The Missile" Giove.  She came in and went out of cycling like a comet.  Back then the equipment was shit & the medicine was worse so she had plenty of crashes and untreated concussions.  Oh and she finally completed her supervised release...cuz when you're caught delivering 400 pounds of weed, Uncle Sam puts you in the dog house for awhile.

Probably not Giant's/ Dumoulin's best weekend for profiling the brand
haha, i still don’t quite understand why he got so upset, he was dropped from the front at that point

Fearing a repeat of last years Giro...Dumoulin has gone heavy on the fiber and is now clearly constipated.

haha, ok I get now... so there was a time trial where the DI2 gears on the bike featured above went into crash mode, causing him to change bikes and loose quite a bit of time.

Then on the Jebel Hafeet climb, Dumoulin was riding the climb for his teammate Kelderman. Once done, Dumoulin dropped, but eventually started to come back, riding strong, and then suffered another mechanical, resulting in somewhat understandable frustration.

Who knew former Kissena was selling Finish Line sealant?

Extra big agree. Plus anyone who wears a dried piranha is by definition the thrashiest thrasher. There can literally be not more thrash than that. None left. All gone.
Did u watch it all the way to the end where she talks about rolling the Volvo wagon the team gave her?? “Blown out the back window, no shoes on, pretty bad head injury and broke my wrist...raced the next day”
LEGIT...I remember when that went down...also remember thinking if you are gonna throw her the keys to a brand new car...u get what u get
She encapsulates the term “hot mess” yet she’s the kinda person whose orbit you wanna be in.
over 30 broken bones and 10 concussions = she’s a soldier of Rome, honor her. She was a pioneer in a completely new sport.  Bikes and suspension were shit back then.  No discs and at most 3 inches if travel.  Coming down Mt Snow at 60 mph on one of those bikes was insane.  I watched it and almost threw up in my mouth when I saw a crash.  Honestly I’d rather go all Strangelove before I’d do that.  Chapeau Missy...chapeau

I was so enjoying this...until the interviewer kicked me straight in the junk at 6:40

If you thought Missy was rad...this guy...this guy walked into town with a flail and brained EVERYONE !!!  and he did this either hungover or still drunk

Agreed on this video.  I grew up in Colorado and got my first mtn bike in 94, a GT something or other, with the integrated bullhorns and a 40mm front shock ... graduated to a Voodoo w/ a 60MM SHOCK a couple years later ... totally remember her shenanigans, going to Vail for the downhill competitions and couldn't believe at the time what the racers were sending themselves down on .... straight sending it!!

You will also need this moment, when Wout cramped so hard he fell off the bike, but barely slowed down -- completely new appreciation for this kid today:

Also noticed that despite epic gravel conditions, in the men’s race( at least, guys left in fotage from about 70km) non were using disc brakes, however seems like the women did use them
