When I started racing in the mid 80s, The Toga team had the sweetest jerseys and skinsuits.  Loved them.  Totally stood out from the pack.

Love that the video included Avalo York, who, along with his brother, helped Nelson out in the early days.  

Nelson, whom I've both interviewed and hung out with, comes through pretty much as I've experienced him.

Kinda bummed the collection doesn't give credit to Lenny Preheim, who was the guy behind the team and I'm pretty sure designed the jersey.  Lenny not only helped many racers step up their games, a bunch to the national level, but was a one-off himself.

i said it before , but last years women’s world champs was the reason I bought a mountain bike , and I joked with Jim , but I was super stoked to tie a number on the handlebars this weekend 

Fans of MVdP may want to check out the Mountain Bike Short Track race he won Friday. Short track is a little weird. Its sorta like cross but not not as good. It only lasts 20 minutes. Yes, 20 minutes! MVdP was 20th back for a while then moved up to 9th and then with 2.5 laps to go BANG! he lights it up. It a good battle on the last lap and unlike the CX season his win was not certain
