You sure you have the guys right?  Och' retired from racing in 1978 or thereabouts, and he was a crit and track rider. He was out years before EPO.  He was out well before Riis turned pro.

Actually Ooch is always the wild card.  Marco was there taking pictures - I'll hit him up.

It was Torneau, not Tissot, that's him behind Phinney, I think.  It was late July in 2007.

I don't think he struggled all year physically, Great ride in Roubaix, wins tour of California, British TT champion , i just think that sometimes he just cant be "arsed"
