Was nice to catch this ride! I didn't even know it was happening (note to self: get on the forum more!). Very cool. The non-Kissena factor definitely sounded interested in the club. Though it was very cold and we weren't going that fast I could tell these guys were chomping at the bit to go faster. There will be some very strong 5s this year.

@Jules, maybe i can be of help. I was planning on doing a PP ride anyway so I'll be around. as long as its not anything that requires me out of cycling apparel

Fantastic turnout today - thanks guys!

DGG, Lt. Dan, "Il Presidente", Mark C, Adam, Jim, who else? I lost count. It was a full on Sunday Ride crew. Add to the mix 8 or so fun guys made for an enjoyable spin around a very, very crowded park.

saw a murder/gaggle/crash of kissenas and prospective-kissenas as they were leaving GAP

nice seeing yall and good job on getting that many people out

got to ride half a lap with Michael, but all he could talk about was whether he looked skinny "enough"

what does that even mean?

Tito, when we get a large enough group of wanna-be new members we'll hold a ride. Until then have them email me at membership and I'll put them on the list of people to notify.

As an FYI, as a club we're closing fast on 50% novices (Cat 4 and below - I can say that because I too am a grey-haired 4) and we want to do a good job of training people who are racing around in KCC kit.

Saturday June 29th after the race in Prospect Park. Social 45 minute spin with some potential new club members.
Need volunteers that can help keep things civil and well organized. This is a SLOW ride, double paceline - we might have as many as twenty people out there. The more KCC uniforms the better.
