Rudy Project is offering an additional 15% on top of our existing discount. So if you've been waiting to pick up a new helmet this is your chance to get a Stirling for $118, or the Slinger for $66.

Regarding the knog lights from BTD:

Eric R placed a large order and will have 8 white ones for sale assuming the order goes through as placed.

Since there were limited quantities I think it's fair that each person who requested get only one, in order of their request. So judging by above the following folks will each get one:

Wojciech
Nathaniel
Eric M
William
Jim
Josh
Matt
Clayton

That's one for everybody that put in a request.

Does that work for everyone? Also, if you requested one but changed your mind, speak up.

We'll wait to hear from Eric when the package arrives for further details.
When I get them I will let all of you know
@ Dan Reiners: How does one use our sponsorship to actually get a discount on a new helmet from Rudy Project?
Nevermind: guessed correctly that typing "Kissena" into the promo code text box would do it.
I have the light.
Unfortunately, I only have 6.
They are $15 each. Feel free to Paypal me directly - eragot at earthlink dot net

Let me know if you don't want it. Please pay and I will bring to the Club Championships.
Want to Try Strava?

Strava is a social-networking ride site. People with recording GPS computers can upload rides to not only share but compete with others.

At InterBike, there was an offer of three months free. go to strava.com/register and use promo code odd2011.
Two more deals from Interbike:

Allen Lim is now selling his own drink mix. He's big on "separating nutrition from hydration" and so he came up with is own mix that he's been giving his riders at least the past year.
the stuff can be found at www.secretdrinkmix.com. secret discount code is SDM. I think it's for 20% off.

Glacier Gloves. They make neoprene gloves. The nice thing is these are lined on the inside with a soft material rather htan just being neoprene, which might make them warmer and more comfortable and probably easier to get off. the site is www.glacieroutdoor.com code is Glacier20 for 20% off.

The above review is for this product: PERFECT CURVE CYCLING GLOVE

They don't seem to carry these in Large.
Allen Lim = USA's Dr. Ferrari He may be good at "seperating nutritition from hydration" but he has a problem "serperating the truth from B.S." when it comes to him doping Landis....juuuuust sayin
anybody see this early Christmas present for Lance?:

Jules texted me yesterday, "Ferrari flipped on Lance Armstrong!" I thought something different happened.
It's all over except for the tearful Oprah interview...
These look pretty sweet:

Half off (Shimano only). Joe M. is this what you have?
@ EricM. Those Reynolds DV3K are offered regularly on Bonktown.
Actually I have the Strikes clinchers:
http://www.reynoldscycling.com/index.php?p_resource=items_wheels_item&p_itm_pk=72

And the good news for you is I'm selling them for $800 (MSRP around $1600) with the Shimano Cassette. I only used these for races and the girl talk video so they've been ridden less than 500 miles. I'm selling them so I can get a set of power tap wheels. Will post photos soon.

Please contact me off list if you are interested: mueller.joseph.j@gmail.com

Photos as promised:
Reynolds DV3K Wheelset - Clincher $900 on BOnktown.com at 4:45 pm for half an hour... Clincher.

I'm glad it's over. Saved $900.
Am I missing something here?

http://www.rapha.cc/oakley-auction

They want you to bid on these to pay for a professional cx team?

"All of the money raised by the auction will go directly to support the Rapha-FOCUS professional cyclocross team."

Uh, doesn't Rapha's overpriced stuff more than cover it? Are no actual charities accepting money at this time?
Wow, just wow. The balls on Rapha. Like they're some grassroots cycling team reaching out to help underprivileged youth get bikes to ride to school. No, your hard earned money is going to go directly to J-Pow's pocket.
And to make it worse, as far as I know, Oakley, long ago stopped sponsoring club teams.
Yeah, I mean, I actually own a couple of rapha things and think they're super nice and well designed/made (Got them around half price on eBay). But this seems galling, especially considering the global economy. By all means, we're involved in a sport that can be ridiculously expensive if you let it be, but I haven't completely lost perspective on what's going on for the vast majority of people on the planet (which perhaps is one of the many reasons I suck). But for a high-end clothing manufacturer and bike builder to raise money for a PROFESSIONAL indulgence seems so out of touch. I can't believe they have the nerve to do this, really.

I want to pay hundreds of dollars for some sunglasses so I can feel attached to watching J-Pow ride around in the mud this season! Can't wait for the fanboy video shoot.

Jeff,
I love it. I want to join, only they'd let me and it doesn't cost enough.

add your own moustache joke here.
that's what michelle bachman would call chootz-pah, huh.

bids open at $250.

Do we get our 45% discount on top of that?
Anyone know what's going on with our special deal cross tires that Ragot coordinated many moons ago?
I heard one of challenges machines broke.
i'd have to think the pt deals are out there because the line is being simplified to the g3 and pro next year. still, deals!
Giro Aeon helmet for $180 (plus 10% off your next purchase): http://www.biketiresdirect.com/product/giro-aeon-helmet

It's not as cheap as a Rudy Project, but it's 125 grams lighter than the Sterling. Plus, the Rabobank colors match our kit pretty well ...

Actually, it's the same price as the new Rudy Project Windmax helmet with our discount. The Windmax doesn't actually come out until December, but you can pre-order: http://www.e-rudy.com/index_inner.php?group_id=3&cat_id=115
$16,000 helmet? Sweet!
