Late for this season but looking ahead, does anyone have opinions on the Winter Skull Cap(s) (fleece or performance) vs the Euro Winter Cap?

I’ve had similar items from other manufacturers and found the euro winter cap to be warmer for the really cold days in 30s and the skull caps to be good in 40s. The skull cap probably also fits better if your helmet has a tight fit. Note that for accessories I would expect that CS is probably good quality but not as good as the higher end items from Rapha or others

I"m not a lover of caps under helmets (maybe it's the hair) but the fleece skull cap was a disappointment to me. The Champion Tech Cap (lycra/breathable) is amazing. I basically wear one under my helmet every single ride. There's a winter version, thicker material, that's also very good. Have not seen or used their skull cap, I presume that's a good as any other skull cap. The Euro Winter Cap is not very good. YMWV

Excited about the donut jersey. Two questions:
- I can't make the pick up date as I'll be out of town. Is there anywhere I can pick it up after or before that date?
- I can't remember if the donut jersey is long sleeved or short. Any idea? Don't want to order another long sleeved training jersey if I have one with a donut.

I got the Performance Fleece Skull Cap, and used it this fall. I found it comparable to my Pearl Izumi Skull Cap. It fits quite snug so I don't have any helmet issues. Then again, I'm hair challenged so... I would not wear it for full on winter when I need a balaclava. I am however a bit disappointed in the Performance Euro Cap as I find it a bit loose for me.

Awesome seeing people's. . . eyes. . . today! I got to talk with teammates I haven't seen in a very long time, met some new members, and even met a couple of prospective members who came out in kind of bitter temps and wind to say hello. Dedicated cyclists all.
Thanks for the donut jersey, and the actual donuts and coffee. I appreciate the Board organizing this and making it happen and allowing me to eat donuts despite the extra 10 (13, tell them the truth!) pounds I've put on.
And I did get inspired to actually ride more. Not sure where that came from (seeing actual people!), or how many days it'll last (two and then you'll be depressed about it[sad face]), but it's nice to remember why I like bikes and the people who ride them.

We will open up another order in the start of April. You’ll have your order by early May, well before the June races that are currently scheduled.
In the meantime, new members get a free jersey. Check with Rich Polk to arrange to get yours if you haven’t done so already
I should add that it is worth posting in the Kit Connoisseur thread as someone might have kit that they are willing to loan or sell.

The Champion System team store is now open through the evening of Thursday April 22nd. Expect delivery in four weeks.
There are separate WHITE and BLUE kit stores. Accessories and bibs/tights are available in either store. Blue tops are only available in the Blue store. White tops and skin suits are in the White store. New members: Please post questions to the Kit Connoisseur thread. Kit is custom and therefore not returnable unless defective (although if you order the wrong size you may be able to swap with another member).
Note that the White and Blue kits have to be ordered separately through the links provided below. Also note that Tech bibs are available with either classic white panel or full blue bibs (like the Performance and Apex bibs).
Please race in our regular awesome kit but feel free to wear the blue kit when training, warming up for CX races, or lounging at your favorite Brooklyn donut shop.
Helpful notes:
- Important: Select the proofs that matches the item you are looking for. For example, there are multiple white jersey proofs, one for the Elite jersey, one for the Aero, Performance and Tech jerseys, plus one for the Mini Jersey (a toy!). Pick the proof for the kit item you want to order. If the picture (aka proof) does not match the item you want, go back and find the correct proof. Ask on the forum for help. Check out my forum post on how to avoid expensive mistakes
- Check the size guide but be aware that it assumes a form fitting fit. If there is any question CS recommends sizing up. Tall members may want to try the club fit jerseys as they have extra length
- Check the descriptions in the product catalog
- Please order from a desktop or laptop computer. These are custom orders with many important details that are better viewed on a large screen.
- Members have the option of having kit delivered directly for an extra $30 or picking it up at RedBeard for free
Ordering Instructions
Click Store LinkClick thumbnail image of product you want (Note that some items have multiple proofs, check the text to see which items they apply to. For example the Apex and Performance Jackets use different proofs)
- Select the style of that product you would like (images shown on this window are stock, not our design)
- Enter preferences, sizes and quantities for that product (you will see your design associated again on this window)
- If the words "reference proof" show up when ordering an item, you have selected the wrong proof for that item. Go back and find the correct proof
- Login if you have ordered in the past
- Sign Up if this is your first order
- Pay from PayPal landing page using your Credit Card or PayPal account. Watch for a confirmation email/receipt from PayPal momentarily
- Please double check your order details for accuracy, there are no returns on custom garments

A few notes:
Unfortunately the Trail shorts are still not available. I’ll keep asking
blue jerseys are available in long sleeve only
the classic knit socks now have the KCC logo on both sides of the ankle
